Organizations
East Central High School Volleyball
East Central High School is located at 100 Trojan Place St. Leon, Indiana. The school is known for its education as well as athletic facilities. I was able to shadow and be mentored by varsity volleyball head coach, Cassie Laker. I worked side-by-side other volleyball coaches and was able to learn from each and every one of them. My hours were different every week. I was able to attend open gym, scrimmages, tournaments, games, and conditioning when I was able to. Some weeks I worked 15-20 hours, and others I didn't work at all. Listed below are some of my main responsibilities:
- Train and coach the girls to their highest potential
- Create and implement practice plans
- Help to create the game rotations
- Help with social media management
- Host 1:1 conversations with the athletes and the other coaches
- Create at-home practice plans for the athletes
Cincinnati Reds
The Cincinnati Reds are a professional baseball team located at 100 Joe Nuxhall Way Cincinnati, OH. I specifically worked with the Reds Community Fund. One of the non-profit arms of the Cincinnati Reds. Some of the key people in the organization at Director, Charley Frank, Assistant Director, Matthew Wagner, and Fundraising Manager, Sara Ingram. I was able to come help and consult with the organization whenever I was available. Some weeks I worked multiple days, and others I didn't work at all. Listed below are some of my main responsibilities:
1. Sell Split the Pot tickets at Reds home games
2. Help with the marketing and promotion of Split the Pot
3. Volunteer at Reds Community Fund fundraising events
4. Make social media content when necessary
5. Help find additional volunteers
I did not receive any compensation for my work with the Reds Community Fund. I volunteered for all the events. I had a great experience with the team and the department when I worked there previously. I wanted to make sure to keep giving back to the department that had already given me so much.

Lawrenceburg High School Volleyball
Lawrenceburg High School is located at 100 Tiger Blvd Lawrenceburg, IN 47025. I was able to work with two different coaches, Kelly Black and Kaylie Martin. I was able to work when I was available. I had begun helping Lawrenceburg in the later stages of their season, and only assisted a few times. East Central and Lawrenceburg are rivals, so it was interesting to see how the two programs differ! Listed below are my duties:
